Community Practices

These guided practice sessions are led by mindfulness and mindful eating professionals.  Each session is 45 - 60 minutes long and consists of a short introduction, guided practice, and concluding discussion. Participants are invited to use their webcam and be visible to other participants, but are welcome to simply participate by audio only, or simply listen. These practice sessions are open to everyone. For participants who are not members of TCME, we ask for a donation to cover the costs of running the program.

An opportunity to practice mindful eating in community. Participants will come prepared with a midday meal chosen to satisfy their hunger. The one- hour group includes guided invitations to cue back into one’s senses during the entire eating process with time to process the experience.

Please note this is not a substitute for professional mindful eating intervention.  This is a taste of mindful eating practice for those interested in learning more.

She is a faculty member of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy, a Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist, and former Director of Education for "Feeding Ourselves (SM)".
