Mindful Eating: Shifting the Focus from Weight to Well-being

About Our Presenters

Linn Thorstensson is an Irish based Nutritional Therapist with a passion for health and healing through food and lifestyle. She has a particular interest in mindful eating in that she emphasizes getting back to basics to celebrate food and eating as the full nourishing experience it can be!

Alice J. Rosen, LMHC, has been living and teaching about mindful eating since 1979.  She has a private practice in Concord, MA.   Alice is past Director of Education for Feeding Ourselves.  She offers weekend intensive workshops called the No-Diet Workshop and monthly Conscious Cafe' where people come to practice and support each other in mindful eating.  She has also created a 4 CD set which is a guide toward a healthy relationship with food.

Michelle May is the creator of Am I Hungry? LLC programs.  Rebecca Johnson is employed by Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Programs and Training.  Rebecca Johnson, M.S. is the Director of Workplace Wellness for Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Programs and Training. Rebecca has a 20 year career in health promotion including a variety of roles in health coaching, health education, group facilitation, exercise leadership, corporate wellness management, and health professional training. Her recovery from a disordered relationship with food, exercise, and body image has added invaluable insight into the struggles with food and weight that so many face and the mindfulness-based strategies that can provide relief and improve health and quality of life.
