Program description: The connection between the habit of judging oneself often leads to binge eating, making blood glucose management more difficult. In this teleconference, Megrette Fletcher will explore counseling techniques used to promote non-judgment in a case study with a 50-year old women with Type 2 diabetes. 


Participants will be able to
1. State the how judgment contributed to binge eating making blood glucose management more difficult.
2. Identify two counseling tool to use that can promote non-judgment surrounding food and eating.
3. Identify 2 benefits of including mindful eating .
