Introduction to Mindful Eating

PRESENTED BY Linn Thorstensson, Nutritional Therapist

Wednesday January 8, 2020, 1:00 PM EST, (time zone converter)

TCME Members: Free

Non Members: $10

This webinar will provide a thorough introduction to mindful eating for people new to the idea and practice. Mindfulness is the capacity to bring full attention and awareness to one’s experience, in the moment, without judgment. Mindful Eating brings mindfulness to food choice and the experience of eating. Mindful eating helps us become aware of our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations related to eating, reconnecting us with our innate inner wisdom about hunger and satiety. Through this webinar participants will learn what mindful eating is and is not, the benefits of eating mindfully, and tools and techniques for practicing mindful eating.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understanding what Mindful Eating is & isn't
  2. The benefits of practicing Mindful Eating
  3. How to practice Mindful Eating in your everyday life
