Physical food comes and goes, but emotional nourishment is the kind that last. Learn how to fill up with what the Buddha called, the Sublime Attitudes. These include friendliness, compassion, equanimity and sympathetic joy.  Ronna Kabatznick will teach the meditations associated with each of these sublime qualities after offering a general description of each one. Come learn and practice what it means to experience a deep sense of fullness and nourishment, without food.


Participants will:

  • Learn how to practice the Sublime Attitudes

Ronna Kabatznick, Ph.D. is a social psychologist, a writer and editor. She has been specializing in mindful eating since 1984 when she began working as a behavioral weight management consultant for Weight Watchers International for nine years. She wrote two best selling books, The Zen of Eating: Ancient Answers to Modern Weight Problems and Who by Water: Reflections of a Tsunami Psychologist. Dr. Kabatznick also helped edit one of the Dalai Lama's international best-sellers, The Art of Happiness. She served on the Board of TCME and is now an advisor to TCME. She works with clients remotely throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She lives in Berkeley, CA and has been committed to working with clients dealing with eating, depression and relationship for the past thirty years.
