Fear and the diet mentality go hand in hand. Even if you've successfully stopped dieting, that doesn't stop you from fearing what will happen if you eat too much of that, and not enough of this. But what is fear and what are we so afraid of... generally and specifically around eating? After entertaining these question, participants will have a chance to do what dieters are so reluctant to do -- face their food-related fears vs. run from them. Finally, one and all will learn a simple self-compassion practice for alleviating fear.
Participants will: • 1 Understand how fear feeds the diet mentality • 2 Discover what happens when you face food-related fears vs. running from them • 3 Learn a simple self-compassion practice for alleviating fear
