What is the format of the course? This course is presented as a hybrid self-study and live online program. Each month a new self-study portion of the course is released which includes, a pre-recorded lesson, assigned reading, and handouts. Ideally, you will complete the self study portion prior to the live Q&A. How much time should allow to complete the coursework? Please allow about 4 hours per month to complete the course work. The live Q&A events have already been scheduled and you see them here. The rest of the content you will complete whenever is convenient for you. Here is an approximate breakdown of what to expect each month:
What happens if I fall behind in the coursework? This happens to students from time to time. You enroll in the course and schedule time each month to stay on track. Then unexpected life events happen, and you find yourself behind. It's OK! As a hybrid self-study and live online course you can adapt the content to meet your needs. Make a plan to complete the course materials, and if possible, keep coming to the live events, yes, even if you're behind. An important part of this course is learning from those in your cohort and being present when you can. There is also an option to interact via an online community to stay connected with others in your cohort. As long as you complete all of your coursework before you lose access to the course, you will still receive your Mindful Eating Certificate. See 'How long will I have access to the course' for more details. How long will I have access to the course? You will have access to the course for 1 year after the final module is presented. For example, the 2023 Cohort will run from March-December 2023. You will continue to have access to the course through December 2024, which is one year after the final module presented in December 2023. |
