About Our Presenters

Andrea Lieberstein, MPH, RD, RYT, is a mindful eating expert, mindfulness-based stress reduction instructor, registered dietitian nutritionist, mindfulness-based coach, and registered yoga instructor. Teaching mindfulness meditation since 1993, she leads mindful eating retreats and trainings at renowned retreat centers internationally.  Andrea trains Health Professionals in mindfulness-based eating awareness training (MB-EAT), maintains a private practice and was a leader in developing and implementing mindfulness and mind body spirit programs at Kaiser Permanente Northern California for over 20 years.  She is a contributing author to several books, including the forthcoming book, "Resources for Teaching Mindfulness: An International Handbook". www.mindfuleatingtraining.com

Julia Grocki has overcome years of emotional eating, losing over 140 pounds and alleviating many health issues. Her passion to help others achieve better health inspired her to become a dietitian and motivational speaker. She completed her dietetic coursework and MS in Nutrition at Marywood University, Scranton, PA, where she has taught in the Science and Nutrition Departments.  Julia is currently employed as a Clinical Dietitian at Geisinger Medical Center and has started an outpatient clinic dedicated to mindful eating practice. She embraces every opportunity to share her personal and professional experiences with disordered eating in clinical and community settings. www.fightemotionaleating.com
